Endow Manitoba Giving Challenge

Each $5 gift is worth $7 during the Endow Manitoba Giving Challenge, November 15 – 21

There’s never been a better time to help our community flourish forever! Westshore Community Foundation encourages residents along the west side of Lake Winnipeg from Dunnottar to Riverton to make a gift between November 15 – 21 as part of the Endow Manitoba Giving Challenge. For this week only, each $5 gift you make becomes $7!

The Winnipeg Foundation will stretch each $5 gift made to Westshore Community Foundation with $1. The Manitoba government continues their commitment to Manitoba community foundations with their support of the Endow Manitoba Giving Challenge 2021. The province will also contribute $1 for every $5 gift.
Online gifts can be made securely through www.endowMB.org. or by phoning The Winnipeg Foundation office, toll-free at 1-877-974-3631, between Nov. 15-21, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gifts can also be made by cheque payable to Westshore Community Foundation and mailed to Westshore Community Foundation, Box 395, Gimli, Manitoba R0C 1B0.
“This is a great opportunity to support Westshore Community Foundation,” says Tim Arnason, President of Westshore Community Foundation. “Of course, we welcome gifts at any time, but between November 15 – 21 your donation will be stretched by the Winnipeg Foundation and the Manitoba government. We’re so excited to see what our community can accomplish!”
Your gift during the Endow Manitoba Giving Challenge will help grow Westshore Community Foundation’s capacity to support a wide range of charitable projects in our catchment area for years to come.

Manitoba is home to 56 community foundations – more than any other area of the country. Donations to a community foundation are pooled and permanently invested. Gifts are never spent and the money will always stay in the community. Every year, these investments generate money that is distributed to support local charitable needs and allows our Foundation to continue “Building a Lasting Legacy” within our communities of interest.
